LOL Ignore that. This is me. But keep in mind. If you don't like me, or hate the way I post things. I'd appreciate you to get out of my blog.
I live in my own little world at times. I love animals, flowers, pretty clothes, heels, my family and friends, my food and everything that makes the world beautiful. I love all consumable foods especially my chocolates. I am not crazy. I am simply different. I'm also utterly obsessed with mermaids and I dream of becoming one someday.
I HATE copycats and spammers. So, if you're one of them, it's a sign that you should stay away. This is where I express most of me, so either you accept it or you don't.

AFTER A LONG TIME
Yes~~~ I'm finally back after leaving my blog dormant for almost 6 months. And so, the reason I returned is to rant about the drama I've just finished watching. Being the typical Wuxia fan, I recently followed the remake of a renowned series- The Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, also known as Tian Long Ba Bu. I wasn't really moved at first, as most of the cast didn't really appeal to me. But at the end I realised it was one of the series that would probably stay with me for a long time.
Although most of the cast in this series didn't really impress me, the connection between Qiao Feng and Ah Zhu really did move me. Somehow the director kinda developed their relationship a little more compared to the previous series. There was more sense as to how they come to like each other. Even though Hu Jun did a better job playing Qiao Feng compared to Wallace Chung, Wallace and Jia Qing's chemistry won in this one.

Additionally, I didn't know I would actually care to remember Zhong Ling's role in the series as she's just one of the ' many ' girlfriends of Duan Yu but Mao Xiao Tong was really adorable in this one. She played Zhong Ling well- innocent and hilarious, in a way. So it's a win compared to the previous Zhong Ling, whom I don't even remember how she looks like now.
But the main reason I watched this was because of my little angel Zhang Meng. After knowing that she'll be taking on the intelligent, devoted and beautiful goddess Wang Yuyan I had to see it. Though there were many that are of the opinion that Liu Yi Fei was more pretty and angelic to play Wang Yuyan I personally felt the complete opposite. I hated Liu Yi Fei's Wang Yuyan in the previous series. She came off cold and most of the time she looks like a walking corpse. Zhang Meng on the other hand had a little bright and innocent touch of aura to her character. She practically glows throughout the whole series, to me.
I could just dig all her photos as Wang Yuyan and post them all day but I won't. Hah. Isn't she just gorgeous? Well to me, at least. Or do people root for Liu Yi Fei more?
Yes, this is the only image you'll get to see cause I didn't like Liu Yi Fei as Wang Yuyan so, stingy me. Hahah.
Second reason to watching this- Kim Kibum! Heartthrob of many young girls in the 2004's. Didn't really like him in Super Junior but well, it's fascinating knowing that a Korean actor will be starring in a Wuxia drama. To be honest, he didn't really fit in the role of Duan Yu as much as Jimmy Lin did in the 2003 series but he did look more dumb. A plus point maybe? I'm such a jerk. But anyway, what's with the hair? He pretty much looked like a drunkard to me in long hair. The bun might have made him look smarter.

I'm right no? He looked better in the bun compared to the drunkard style.
Moving on to Mu Wanqing. I actually liked the Mu Wanqing in the 2003 series. She gives off a strong, independent lady kind of vibe but still in need of care and love which makes her role appealing. But the Mu Wanqing in this series is kinda nothing but a pretty face to me. And her face kinda looks like she swallowed chillies all the time. So, this one's a lost.
But the most frustrating part is that Wang Yuyan didn't end up with Duan Yu in this series. Like why?? What. The. Hell. Were. You. Thinking. Mr. Director. I want my Zhang Meng to end up with Kim Kibum. Ugh. You did give her the screen time she deserve as Wang Yuyan but don't get me started on the part you leave her out just like that when Duan Yu returned home with his other girlfriends. I'm so frigging pissed just let me direct the drama already. Okay, I'll stop here. At least they had more scenes together compared to his other female co-stars.
Alright. I'm done ranting. Though I'm still a little pissed at the director for changing the storyline I'll just pass considering the scenes where Mu Wanqing and Zhong Ling were neglected by Duan Yu when he went head over heels for Wang Yuyan. I won't mention how pissed I am watching Qiao Feng die in every series cause that was how Jin Yong wanted it to be when he wrote it so. That's all. Till next time readers.
